Description

Trying out some new techniques...promised myself I'd start and finish a painting today. Took too long for how simple it is, but I'm workin' on it.

I can tell this is not your normal style of painting. Only because everything seems so much softer. Even your lines are very soft. I would have liked to have seen a little more detail in the legs only because the suction cup things seem to be very relaxed. However, I gave you a 5 out of 5 star for vision (and not because you are my friend either) but because for one this is very original. Sure we've seen half octi-ladies, but most of the time they still come out being super sexy and what not. This is the most realistic I have ever seen.

Originality, got a 5 out of 5 for pretty much the same reason. Sure the octi-woman isn't something you came up with all on your own, but seeing Chi makes me realize that you have put your own spin on it. I think that's important in today's market. Everyone instantly thinks of The Little Mermaid for what a half octopus half human needs to be. And as much as I love the Seawitch, I certainly do't see any sort of the same.

A good thing!

Technique, it's still boss. I can't give you anything less than five only because you rock so solid. But like I said before I would have loooved to have seen more detail in the suckers, but for you saying you did this in one day? Omg. Girl you kill me dead with your awesomeness.

Overall Impact? I think I would have liked to have seen some dramatic water, or some lights maybe? But it's awesome. I feel like a jackass already even offering this critique, but as your friend you know it's coming from my heart.
